  • So many of you have been telling me about Craig Morgan's song "The Father, My Son, and the Holy Ghost," so I decided to do a whole video about it. This is just as much about the song as it is about its improbable journey to #1, much of that thanks to Blake Shelton. I am an atheist and I always felt that, when people said "thoughts and prayers" to someone, it is cheap and a pretense of helpfulness.

Blake used social media in a very positive way to help get Craig's song to #1 on iTunes. We need more of that positivity on SM. I'm so tired of all the negativity on SM so good for Blake to do something nice.

His performance on the Kelly Clarkson was so emotional

It is what good music does. It’s what real country music does. Tells a story and delivers it through an array of emotions 👍🏻

I just discovered this song this evening and it hit home harder than any ever could.. The loss of a child (regardless the childs age) is the hardest any parent will ever feel.. it has been 18yrs since my son passed and it never heals... I thank all who promoted this song.. It has brought a strange comfort in a way...

If you haven't already I highly recommend giving Colter Wall's " The Devil Wears a Suit and Tie" Brewery Sessions specifically.. the pure power in his voice here amplifies and is just mind boggling it gives me chills!

I heard this song the day that it came. I am a huge Craig Morgan fan. Everytime I listen to it I cry but I know that crying is healing from the past pain from losing someone close.

“Almost home” “this ain’t nothing” and “that’s what I love about Sunday” are pretty much the three songs everyone needs in their lives.
